Do you do same-sex weddings?

A million times YESS!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, we love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and we're 100% here for it!

Can I book in an engagement shoot?

Absolutely! We capture engagement sessions as well as weddings, and you can book one either as a standalone shoot or as part of some of our top packages. Getting the chance to meet you before the big day is honestly one of our favourite parts of the job. It gives us a proper opportunity to connect, get to know your dynamic as a couple, and settle any nerves in front of the camera well before your wedding day arrives. If you'd love to add one on, just get in touch and we can chat about what would suit you best.

Do you provide a shot list or timeline planning help?

Absolutely! Once you're booked in, we'll send over a detailed questionnaire to get all the key details of your day, and we're always just a message away if you want a hand mapping out your timeline.

We've shot hundreds of weddings, so we're more than happy to share our two cents on timing things like golden hour portraits and reception entries.

At the end of the day, it's your timeline and your day, but if you'd love some guidance on getting the flow just right, we've got you covered.

Can I print my photos?

Of course, we'd love for you to print your favourite photos and have them hanging somewhere you'll see them every day! You can easily order prints straight through your online gallery, so there's no need to go hunting for a separate printing service or worrying about quality.

What happens if I don't like the music in my film?

You guys have the final say on the highlight film music, but we've developed a good sense of what clients love and what works best with the flow of the day. We'll send you a questionnaire before your wedding day, and there's a section where you can share your favourite songs, genres and anything you'd love us to use as inspiration.

We're able to use any songs these days, so your suggestions can absolutely make it into the final film. Sometimes we'll even build the soundtrack around music that was actually part of your day, like your first dance song or a tune the band played at the reception, so the film feels even more like your wedding.

Do you offer wedding albums, and how do we order one?

We do! Albums can be ordered straight through your online gallery once your photos are delivered, so everything's in one easy place. If you find yourself staring at hundreds of favourites and can't narrow it down, don't stress, we're more than happy to help guide you through the selection process.

Can we get both photography and videography as a combined package?

Yes, most of our couples choose a combined package! Having both teams there together means we can coordinate seamlessly on timing and make sure we're never getting in each other's shots. Instead, we're working as one unit throughout your entire day.

How can I reserve my date?

Great question! Once you enquire with us, we can hold your date for up to 5 business days without any payment, just so you've got breathing room to make your decision. After that, we do need a booking fee to keep it held, simply because of how much demand there is in the wedding industry right now and how many other couples reach out for the same dates.

Once your booking fee is paid and your contract is signed, that's it, your date is locked in and officially yours. From there, we can't wait to start getting to know you both and planning out your day together!

Do I get my deposit back if I cancel the wedding?

Unfortunately no, the booking fee is non-refundable. Once you book with us, we turn away every other couple who reaches out for your date, and we start setting aside time to prepare for your day well in advance. The booking fee is what secures your spot with us and reflects that commitment on both sides. We totally understand that plans change and life happens, but this is one boundary we do need to hold firm on. If your date shifts rather than cancels altogether, get in touch and we'll always do our best to work something out with you.

If we have to change our wedding to a new date, can we use our booking fee for the new date?

Of course! If your date needs to shift, your booking fee simply moves with you to the new date, provided we're available. Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected, so we're not about to leave you out of pocket for it. The fee itself stays non-refundable because it's what allows us to turn away every other couple who reaches out for your original date and start preparing for your day in advance. Think of it as our way of staying steady as a business while still looking after you when plans change. Just get in touch as soon as you know your new date and we'll sort the rest with you.

What happens if disaster strikes?

This has never happened and it will NEVER happen. That's a promise we take seriously. However, if the unthinkable ever did happen, we've got contacts all over the world who'd be able to step in for us. These are other talented photographers and videographers we know and trust, who'd take just as good care of you and your day as we would.

Do you have any vendors you recommend?

Yes, absolutely! From years of experience in the wedding industry, we've come to work alongside some of the top wedding vendors out there, celebrants, florists, venues, you name it. We've listed some of our standout favourites on our website to help point you in the right direction.

How many people from Memento Collective will be at our wedding?

This depends on your package, but most weddings have at least one photographer and one videographer with us. For bigger days, we'll add a second shooter into the mix to make sure nothing gets missed.

Either way, you'll know exactly who's on your team well before the big day arrives, so there'll be no unfamiliar faces showing up on the morning of your wedding.

What happens if our photographer or videographer is sick on the day?

Your wedding day is too important to leave to chance, so we've always got backup shooters within our team ready to step in if needed. They're fully briefed on your questionnaire and timeline ahead of time, so nothing gets missed and there are no awkward gaps in your coverage.

You can relax knowing your day is protected no matter what, because to us, showing up prepared isn't optional, it's a promise.

Can we meet our photographer or videographer before booking?

Of course! We think it's really important that you feel completely comfortable with the person capturing your day, engagement shoot or not. If you haven't booked one, we're more than happy to arrange a call or a casual meet-up with your shooter beforehand so you're not meeting for the first time on the morning of your wedding.

At the end of the day, we want you to feel like you're being photographed by a friend, not a stranger with a camera.

Do you need a wedding day timeline or itinerary from us before the wedding?

Yes please! A rough run sheet, even just rough timings for getting ready, the ceremony and the reception, helps us plan our coverage and make sure we're exactly where we need to be for every key moment of your day. Don't worry about making it perfect or overly detailed, we'll send you a template to make this nice and easy.

The more we know ahead of time, the more we can focus purely on capturing your day rather than chasing timings on the fly.

What happens if we go over the contracted timeframe?

We completely understand that all the events may not run on schedule on your day. We will never pack away our gear before the contracted time has ended. We will ask you at the end of your coverage if you would like to extend your time. If you chose to extend your coverage, we will charge the rates originally specified in the package & contract. Charged coverage will be rounded to the closest 30 minute timeframe.

Why do I have to pay for extra time?

When you book us in for your wedding day, we mark that day as yours in our calendar. This means that we will not make any other plans for that same date. If you chose to have us stay longer than originally planned we will then run into costs such as paying for the teams time. Additional coverage also means more photos & videos captured so this adds hours onto editing as well.

Do you photograph both partners getting ready separately?

Yes, if you'd like us to! This usually calls for two shooters so we can capture both sides of the morning at once: the nerves, the laughter, the "you look amazing" moment right before you see each other. Just let us know in your questionnaire and we'll plan the timeline around it.
